Backlog #1 - Flower Meeting

My apologies! I haven't updated in a while. Wedding planning has taken a back seat to income tax filing and just general laziness. Now it's almost the end of May and I haven't done any postings! Aaah! To compensate for this, I will "go back through time" and do my postings. Even though today is May 25, this entry will be dated May 2 because I did start blogging but I didn't finish it. Here we go...

On May 2 (Saturday), D and I met with Kathleen (a.k.a. Flower Lady) of Proline Trading. To my surprise, she is more than just a flower lady. She does décor and linen rentals as well. The meeting, unfortunately, wasn't super productive because I've come to realize that I don't know exactly what flowers I want :(

To mitigate this problem, I did an online research on wedding flowers. The Knot has an awesome wedding flower guide. Unfortunately, you have to create an account in order to be able to view the flowers. And so, I'm copying and pasting below some of the info on flowers that I found pretty:

I tried creating a table but it won't show up right :(

So now, I look for pictures of bouquets and centerpieces when I have time. I'm hoping to create a site that will serve as my "inspiration board," which I can just send to a vendor and say, "I want this. How much will it cost me?" So as you can see, flowers is still a work in progress.

Speaking of flowers, I bought some hydrangeas over the weekend, Saturday to be exact. I think I didn't put them in water quickly enough. They started wilting Saturday night >_<
